MAKE ROOM: THE HEART OF ADVENT FOR WORSHIP LEADERS

The Advent Season Is A Gift.

It reminds us that God came close—not in noise, but in stillness.

Yet in ministry, this month often becomes the busiest of all.

We push through deadlines, programs, and “just one more” service.

The Danger?

We show up with a setlist, but without a surrendered heart.

We can’t lead people into encounters we haven’t had ourselves. If our schedule leaves no space for Him, we’ll burn out.

Advent is an invitation to pause—to light a candle, sit in silence, read His Word slowly, and prepare Him room.

When we make space for Jesus in private, our public leadership carries weight. We stop leading from fumes and start leading from fullness.

Our teams and congregations don’t just need polished Christmas songs; they need leaders who have actually met with the Saviour.

This December, Resist The Temptation To Power Through.

  • Slow Down.
  • Prepare Him Room—Not Just For Your Church, But For Your Soul.

Think It. Live It.

  • What does it look like for me to make room for Jesus this month?
  • Where in my rhythm do I need to pause instead of pressing?
