RESURRECTION POWER STARTS WITH SURRENDER

Everyone loves the sound of resurrection—songs of victory, testimonies of breakthrough, stories of chains falling.

But resurrection never comes without surrender. Jesus laid down His life before He rose in power.

In the same way, our worship carries authority when it flows from what we’ve surrendered.

It’s tempting in ministry to chase the “high” moments—the big Sunday, the perfect set, the packed room.

But if we only want the crown without the cross, we’ll miss the depth of what God is doing.

Resurrection is not about avoiding suffering; it’s about trusting God to redeem it.

For worship leaders, that surrender may look like laying down preferences, egos, or the desire for recognition.

For creatives, it may mean trusting God with ideas, songs, or dreams instead of forcing them to happen in your own strength.

What we release into God’s hands, He raises in His power.

This Easter, let’s not only celebrate the victory of resurrection—let’s also embrace the beauty of surrender.

Because when we bring God our brokenness, our obedience, and our trust, He breathes resurrection life into places we thought were finished.

Think It. Live It.:

What do I need to surrender again this Easter season?

Am I willing to lay something down so God can raise something new?
